Katarina Gasko 

I’m a children’s illustrator creating story-driven illustrations for younger readers and middle grade audiences. I studied illustration at VŠVU in Bratislava, and I now work mainly digitally in Photoshop.

My process usually starts with the text. I like looking for clear, readable compositions and character moments that help the story feel alive, whether it is a quiet emotional scene or a more adventurous, action-filled spread.

I’ve worked with publishers including OUP, Ladybird Books, Albatros, Magination Press, Jessica Kingsley Publishers and CGP, and I’m currently represented by Plum Agency.
